One NFL Bet or Player Prop for Each Sunday Game in Week 16

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

Atlanta Falcons @ Kansas Chiefs 1:00 PM EST

Patrick Mahomes Over 318.5 Passing Yards (-112)

Last week, Patrick Mahomes had some struggles against the New Orleans Saints defense. He threw for 254 yards in the Chiefs 32-29 win over Saints, who have the fifth ranked pass defense in all of the NFL. This week, Mahomes will be taking on the second worse passing defense with the Falcons. On average, the Falcons allow 287.7 passing yards per game. The Falcons are also coming off a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where they allowed Tom Brady to throw for 320 yards in the second half alone.

Chicago Bears @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 PM EST

David Montgomery Over 78.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

In the three of the past four games, David Montgomery has rushed for 100+ yards. We have also seen an increase in carries for him. The Jacksonville Jaguars are ranked the third worse run defense in all of the NFL. Now that the Jaguars are in position to get the number one pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, I don't think that there's any chance they win or are competitive in either of their final two games this season.

Cleveland Browns @ New York Jets 1:00 PM EST

Kareem Hunt Any Time Touchdown Scorer (+105)

The Browns are now without a ton of key players on their offense including Rashard Higgins and Jarvis Landry. Without those two in the passing game, the Browns will be relying on guys like Hunt who always make plays in the passing game. I think we’ll see him on the field much more than usual today. The Jets defense will also likely be stacking the box guessing run which could set Hunt up for a receiving touchdown. Because the Browns still have a shot at winning the AFC North, they will be using their important pieces as much as they can.

Indianapolis Colts @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00 PM EST

Jonathan Taylor Over 58.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

After some rookie struggles early on in the year, Jonathan Taylor has been one of the top rookie running backs in the NFL. Taylor has rushed for 80+ yards in four straight games and I like him continuing that streak against Pittsburgh. Frank Reich has really started giving Taylor an increased amount of carries and that has given this team a spark. The Colts have won four straight and to beat the Steelers they will need a big day from Taylor.

New York Giants @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00 PM EST

JK Dobbins Over 7.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

JK Dobbins has really played well for the Ravens in the past few weeks. Last week, he only had one reception for 17 yards, but that still would've been enough to cover this week. Dobbins has had a ton of success in breaking tackles and the Ravens like to have Dobbins on the field for passing plays. The Ravens will have a ton of success throwing the ball underneath against this Giants team. This should be a big day for Dobbins in the run game and pass game.

Cincinatti Bengals @ Houston Texans 1:00 PM EST

Tee Higgins Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+230)

Last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tee Higgins could've had multiple touchdowns if it wasn't for bad throws from his quarterback Ryan Finley. This week, I think we see Finley and Higgins connect in the end zone. The Houston Texans have a below average passing defense and this could help Finley gain some confidence in his throws. Tee Higgins is a playmaker and you have to give him a chance at catching the ball and he'll make a play.

Carolina Panthers @ Washington Football Team 4:05 PM EST

Washington Football Team -1 (-108)

This was one of my easier picks for the week. Head coach Ron Rivera has a chance to clinch the NFC East against his former team with a win on Sunday and a New York Giants loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Washington Football Team defense has been playing like the best in the NFL for the past few weeks and they'll have continued success against a struggling Panthers team. Antonio Gibson also has a shot at playing this week which will give Washington's offense a needed boost.

Denver Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers 4:05 PM EST

Justin Herbert Over 260.5 Passing Yards (-112)

Justin Herbert is a top candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year and he's earned it. Another incredible thing about his success is the fact that he gets everybody involved. Last week, Keenan Allen was limited and Mike Williams was out, but Herbert still managed tho throw for 314 yards. This week, Allen is questionable but if he is active, I think Herbert is going to dominate the Broncos defense.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dalls Cowboys 4:25 PM EST

Jalen Hurts Over 52.5 Rushing Yards

The Dallas Cowboys are ranked last in allowed rushing yards per game this season. In their game against the Ravens earlier this season, the Cowboys showed their struggles to stop a dual threat quarterback allowing Lamar Jackson to rush for 94 yards. Jalen Hurts has given this Eagles team a needed spark and has shown a ton of skill and leadership in the past few weeks. I believe the Eagles rushing offense will have their way against the Cowboys and I think Hurts could even run for 100+ on Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks 4:25 PM EST

DK Metcalf Under 71.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

Throughout his career against Jalen Ramsey, DK Metcalf has shown struggles. I am expecting Tyler Lockett to have some success on Sunday but not Metcalf. During week 10, Metcalf only caught two passes for 28 yards. This is also an important game for both teams as the winner will be in first place in the NFC West. Ramsey has had a ton of success all season against some of the top wide receivers and I think we could see that again on Sunday.

Tennessee Titans @ Green Bay Packers 8:20 PM EST

Derrick Henry Over 108.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

Betting Derrick Henry is usually an easy bet for the over on rushing yards. Green Bay has a mediocre defense and this is a needed win for the Titans. Henry is going to get the ball a ton on Sunday night and he'll likely have success. This is also Henry's time of year as we saw last season. I'm expecting this to be a high scoring game and for the Titans to stay in this game they will need to give Henry a ton of carries.
